TIMELAPSE
Timelapse evolved out of the simple concept of the passage of time. We were interested in forming a dialogue between music and movement where both follow the same path in time but interpret it in different ways through space, rhythm and melody. Dancer and musician share the same point of departure, both sitting side by side as observers. Music and movement are based on recurrent themes of continuity and circularity. Through simple forms and flow/exchange of rhythmical ideas the performers journey into time and space.
Performed at The King's Place as part of Musichoreography: Duets for Dancers and Instrumentalists
